ALBI, ITS CATHEDRAL, EPISCOPAL CITY, AND MUSEUMS
The Sainte-Cécile cathedral of Albi is the main beacon in the UNESCO Heritage-listed city. The largest brick cathedral in the world, Sainte-Cécile impresses visitors with its bulky, fortress-like exterior; upon entering, it offers a beautiful collection of paintings and statues. More than 800,000 people visit the cathedral each year.
The Episcopal City of Albi is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2010. Two monuments stand out: the exceptionally powerful episcopal palace and the imposing cathedral. More than one million visitors discover the city each year. You will remember the beauty of this exceptional site.
